I do think there is some gatekeeping going on...some of them want her to stay where she is so she can always be the "underrated underdog". I also see a lot of "I've been a fan, where have you all of been at?" also. 

 

Neither work because if we want to see her support increase and potential growth in opportunities, hit songs need to happen! The fact that more eyes are on her is the time to introduce her to new people or remind people of who she is without being shady or negative towards them. She has not had the machine behind her, so naturally many in the GP are only aware of her bigger songs!

 

Also, even if you dislike Nasty, the fact that Tinashe is getting this much positive attention, buzz and PRESS is a good thing. No matter how you try to spin it. Just because it didn't happen the way you wanted it to is null and void. 

I wouldn't give twitter people too much attention, if they were relevant in first place, Save Room For Us would be a 10 weeks #1 smash hence the ammount of virals they did for this one alone I mean

Let them talk, at the end of the day Tinashe (and lowkey we) should give attention to new fans, not the loud old ones that never were that supportive in first place  

like this is her best shot at a hit in almost a decade… we need to celebrate and focus on this instead of lamenting what could've been over the years

We get it move on. Make sure you buy, promote, and stream. If and once this becomes a hit. Feel free to promote the other songs you feel that is more deserving, cause now we riding with nasty until the wheels fall off.

yeah I really hope she pushes QUANTUM BABY up to 9-10 songs to justify her calling this one an album too. 7 songs isn't gonna cut it even though a part 3 is confirmed

Ok I get that Tinashe has many great songs that deserved to be hit but what we're not going to do is pretend that Nasty is not a massive bop and great  the weird hate this song has been getting now that it's actually doing something ain't it
