Nicki's new album was not well received by critics and consumers. What went wrong ?

Um more like what went right from the album actually getting released at all after like a million delays?

Like the worst rollout in a while. Imagine thinking Gag City or whatever saves ou from flopping

Lack of quality, originality or innovation

clearly something went right and some people outside of atrl's circle jerk are liking the album

Isn't opening with 200K and still making 15M Daily on Spotify + solid numbers on AM?.

 

What Is missing Is more like a big hit, and i know the album Is made to really trying to get a big pop viral hit, but even without that Is doing good. An hip hop album doesn't need a very big specific hit to get good numbers since It's a genre consumed as whole. 

 

 

Maybe next week will tragically drop but seems to early for these threads with a 200K opener.

Nicki is aiming for 200K+ and the highest female rap debut of the decade. 15 years into her career.

 

What went right?

Yall can thread it every 5 minutes but nothing went wrong 💀 

 

It’s debuting number 1 with over 200k.

 

She still has 5 songs in the top 10 of Apple Music including the top 2 positions. 
 

Two songs are going viral. 
 

It has her highest Metacritic score so far. 
 

Her tour is selling out and she’s getting a lot of praise by the GP on social media.
