Bad blood won. Surprised?

Featured Replies

it's the highest charting song from the original tracklist. Bad Blood won! Are you surprised?

it’s the only one with two versions (standard, remix) so no

wheres kendricks credit…

the solo version was streamed more, therefore that’s the version that’s credited

is and always was a smash, atrl's forced hate for it is weird

I think people are just surprised it's available on streaming :deadbanana4: The OG remix was buried so deep it never really got any traction I think

No, this song blew up from 1) being the song right before the secret songs and 2) the "hey, stop" "she didn't do anything!" memes.

HATED this song prior to Eras Tour, but now I love it probably just because it just reminds me of the fun anticipation right before the secret songs.

It’s not really a narrative forced by ATRL… I’ve seen a lot of people naming it one of the weaker singles of 1989 since 2014

I love the original song but I can’t stand the rent-a-rapper version. I’ve never understood why it’s necessary to add a rapper to a song they weren’t originally featured on.

Grammy Blood is a bop and its haters can fume :clap3:

It was my show where she said "HEY! She wasn't doing anything... HEY! STOP!" so now I always hear it nn, it goes off live

Always has :clap3: the hate for it has always been bizarre and unwarranted.  A lack of taste, one might say.

Bad Blood is nice and it has two versions on each album it's not surprising.

Kendrick being called a rent a rapper is one of the most hilarious things I've read on ATRL. Especially when it was known that Taylor is a huge fan of his. But you liked the original cringey version so im not surprised this is your assumption.

If she’s such a big fan of his, she could and should have just made a brand new song featuring him. Which is why I quite clearly said:

“I’ve never understood why it’s necessary to add a rapper to a song they weren’t originally featured on.”

I didn’t make any assumptions? Was Kendrick added onto a song that originally didn’t feature him? Is this a trend that happens a lot in the pop music scene? Which is why I said rent-a-rapper as a lot of singers seem to randomly add a rapper to their songs when it’s turned into a single and I’ve never understood the point. Just release the album version or create a new song with that rapper.

One of the worst pop songs ever written and proof that people have zero taste. :clap3:
