it feels soooo good to be on the right side of history. This song is starting to pick up like the OG fans knew. 
there was just too many things going on in the world for a song to pick up & smash from the gates. 
Dua is not yet in the icon levels of riri, bey or adele, for it to happen. 
 

this is picking up & it will pick even more up in the coming days/weeks. 
 

i will say 2.3-2.4 million update tomorrow & 2.7-2.9 on NYE.

The Grammy’s are February 4th, if your theory is correct and she will perform 3 songs then we may get the second single sooner just like one of the insiders mention in the thread a few days ago

i think the director of the Houdini video also posted backstage photos in the stories on insta saying the he was proud of everyone for working so well “consider the short amount of time and special conditions” so it does seem like it was a rush job that got everyone by surprise.

 

Proud of Dua for making such a hard decision thinking of the world situation and the well being of everyone. Excited for the video and for it to be released in a better context.

Oh wow, that definitely makes a lot more sense now and I respect her for changing her plans. I really hope we get the music video eventually though because it sounds like it'll set the tone for the era perfectly...

Some people are saying it was for TS because it got delayed and the name of the song was filtered even before the Houdini announcement meanwhile other people are saying it was for Houdini because if you hear the WhatsApp snippet you can hear how Dua get into a car.

Yeah it sounds like the original MV for training session, not Houdini. I wonder if they’re clutching their pearls hoping there’s a right time to release the original or just delaying it to reshoot everything. 
 

Now that I think about it, Houdini does give Physical energy, in the sense it’s a darker, harder dance track, so I could

so see it originally being the second single.

It makes no sense. Like.... why movies with violence and explosions are ok to be released but not music videos... It's art... like, stop confusing art and reality. She should have released the music video.
