You're right, most of these things are settled before it even comes close to a court case, so technically no-one is sued.

 

We don't know who suggested that Olivia should give up 50% (compared to the 10% that Taylor's team agreed to pay Annie), and we don't know who advised her that she should accept that deal, but there must be a reason that Olivia got rid of her original management team.

Maybe it has something to do with that. 50% is definitely too much. Is it the same she gave to Paramore? If Olivia is mad or disappointed with Taylor (seems so) I think it has more to do with Taylor not defending her rather than actively suing or demanding credits, that makes no sense and it would be known already.

I'm kind of worried for the new management but everything seems ok so far....

so it's going to be Olivia vs Taylor's singles (cruel summer + SNTV single) for the rest of the summer? We can't catch a break . I still remember those exhausting battle against the BoTS stans 2 summers ago..

I imagine there will be about 98 other songs on the hot 100 too.  I don’t think Cruel summer will even go top 10 so there is plenty of room for both to do well.

Why is it so hard to understand that a song can be both about a man and someone else, like it's not a choice when the feelings are the same anyway (betrayal etc)
