Inspired by another thread  

 

Despite her smash hit with David Guetta "I'm Good" her new record debuted at #132 on BB200, this album being her second bomb in a row, no publication even bothered  reviewing it, I think it was really brave of her to release this the same week as Jessie Ware's new album.

 

She's not in any way a unique or original artist, so is there anything she can do to salvage her career?

A couple more faceless features then a “return” to the countrash sound of Meant To Be. A Morgan Wallen collab. She will defend it saying didn’t know about his past but that we should just “listen to the music and decide for yourself how you feel about it “

Stick to songwriting for others, more DJ collabs

 

I like Bebe but nothing about her really resonates with me. Outside of her being a songwriter I feel like I don't know who she is, and she's been in the pop culturesphere for a while now. 

 

Her voice is also hit or miss for me? I love it on Meant To Be, but hate it on songs like I'm a Mess.

Bebe has no artistic identity, or at least it seems like that. Therefore she's unlikely to build a dedicated fanbase and has to rely on collabs

Bebe took France, Japan, US, Canada. I think she wins dear 

She will tour… after that I see her doing a DJ collab maybe go back with Martín Garrix, maybe try something with Tiesto

oh wow oh wow

I feel bad for Bebe she clearly wants to be a successful pop star. But she more successful as a songwriter for other artist and finds hits with doing DJ collabs. At least she isn’t short on cash and making a living and getting well payed for it.

i think it’s clear she’s not an albums artist. Her albums are also not particularly good or inspired, they always just feel like a collection of songs. 
 

Stick to EDM collabs, collabs with other artists potentially, singles, EPs. Try to get another hit via tiktok. 

I guess the Rexhars and Bad ******* only approach doesn’t yield high sales. She should keep making music regardless of whether she charts or not, anyone got any recommendations from her new album worth listening to?

She should just stick to getting a hit collab every now and again. Maybe be a judge on a show like The Voice. She’ll never be a huge pop star but she has a decent catalogue of hits. 
 

Honestly, good for her. She’s essentially faceless so she can live a life of relative privacy but the royalties from her good amount of hits will keep the bills paid and the lights on. If she really enjoys music, she should release a bop collab every now and again, but really experiment with her sound on her albums since no one will really check for it anyways. Just have fun with it. A dream and a perfect middle ground. Maybe she can try to carve a small niche into the Charli-Kim-Tove Lo type of world. Although with her artistry thus far, I think she’s kind of heading towards an Ava Max route at best, but I’d love for her to prove me wrong.
 

Regardless, she should be happy she’s not as big of a flop as girls like Bea Miller or Pia Mia. She’s just above them and she should be proud of that.
