What does Rihanna bring to the table?

Featured Replies

So after the TIWYCF demo leaked, I realized it is identical to the original version with zero changes done to the song. To make things even worse, Taylor's vocals are also copy-pasted throughout the song.

This has been the case for every song of hers that has a demo that got leaked.

She perfectly recreates every melody/harmonies/quirk/vibe/accent/personality in every ******* song. It is uncanny at this point.

Even while covering a song instead of bringing her own take on the song, she just copied everything over the same instrumental and added it to her album. The only thing that is different is the voice that is singing it.

Like what's the point?

What does Rihanna as an artist bring to the table when she is just a perfect chameleon of much more creative artists?

Other writing camp artists do something to spice it up and make the song their own, Beyonce with her adlibs and new harmonies, Britney with her baby voice.

How does Rihanna get away with this?

ask Calvin who flew across the ocean to get her vocals on it instead

There's a reason why Taylor wanted Rih from all people to sing her song

Elevating the song with her vocals? Rihanna doesn't have writing credits on this so what did you expect her to write it lmao.

Taylor has also shown she cannot sing it live (or in the studio apparently).

She has a certain swag & style of singing that no one else can touch. It also helps she has such a unique voice.

Rihanna sounds better than all them demos you posted.

Chile NEXT! :gaynetcat3:

Britney & Rihanna occupy the same space. Idk why Rihanna gets away with being so mediocre when black women do have to work 10x harder than their peers. Beyoncé would be dragged if she had Rihanna's level of non existing talent or performing skills :rip:

The swifties believing Taylor's vocals are better than Rihanna's :rip:

The complete delusion

At this point it's more about what the table can bring to Rihanna :rip:

All of the songs posted in the OP would have been heard by like 100x less people without her

Actually being able to sing?

The "vocals" on display here are truly shocking :deadbanana2:

I mean if you listen to the demo it's clear who has more in common with britney :skull:

Cuntiness. She puts zero effort in everything she does yet she's still more interesting to listen to and obesrve than try-hards like Gaga, Beyonce and Taylor.

Maybe ask the industry songwriters whom reference her as their muse and are dying to get her on a record? Some of them even resort to chasing her across the globe to get her vocals. :lakitu:

Britney actually has MANY writing credits in her career especially before conservatorship and she is pretty involved with her music.

It's okay to just be singer/vocalists. That's why songwriting is its own career. They often overlap but it's not a prerequisite

She's stylish and very pretty.

The way she has a writing credit on B*tch Better Have My Money when there's not a single word of difference :rip:

These frauds i swear :ace:

Who are you to be speaking on what Black women do and don’t have to do as a Taylor Swift fan?

:rip:

Get the f*ck outta here…

Ya’ll get way too damn brave.

It's crazy how much she elevated the song from the demos with just her vocals.

Apparently, it's a timbre so unparalleled by all her peers with the hits she has and the way these musicians want her to sing their songs. It's truly a natural-born gift and it can't be replicated no matter how hard other ladies may try. :michael:

I'm just saying Rihanna has broken barriers in that you can be both black AND mediocre

Don’t speak on us. Period.

Not this thread turning into a racist rant that invalidates Rih's experiences as a Black woman and implying she doesn't have to work hard because of it :deadbanana2:

so the real reason you're upset is because Rihanna is black and not getting dragged? very interesting!
