ariana grande is a vocalist first, entertainer second. and she improved her singing every subsequent era too.

doja cat talent wise is miles beyond what rihanna could ever conjure, she simply lacks the global appeal mainly due to being a rapper first but she's getting there

Theres no replacement because there is only 1 Rihanna. Nobody has her story, her background, her hustle, etc.

While u can obviously make comparisons such as the ones u listed, only Rihanna matches all of them at the same time.

 

When it just comes down to performance style, ear for hits, and appeal, Dua comes closest.

No one, Rihanna was scoring hit after hit for 8 albums, she had her flops but she got at least 2 big hits per albums, the new girls aren't seeing her.
