Sia's "Soon We'll Be Found" appreciation thread

Featured Replies

The artistry. The Vocals. Did she eat with "Soon We'll Be Found"?  :jonny:

she definitely ate but Death by Chocolate and Lentil deserved the spotlight more. Those two songs would’ve been Grammy nominated if Adele had sung it.

Beautiful calm driving and You’ve been loved also deserved.

Anyways the whole album is just fantastic

Ugh I miss this Sia.

Some People Have Real Problems is truly a masterpiece. Her artistry and her songwriting were top notch.

True. I miss when she used to give a full body of work filled with pure art. :jonny:

Music was so underwhelming. 1000 Forms of Fear is the last album I really cared for, and maybe a few from This is Acting even though it was mostly a rejected songs album.

fr. I went into a record shop and bought this album back in the day off the strength of the album cover alone. I didn't even know who Sia was but it piqued my interest and I was pleased to find that the contents of the album were just as great as the packaging. I did blind buys sometimes out of boredom.

My fav and first song from  is breathe me. Not sure where I heard it from but it was so good :jonny6:

A wonderful song from one of my favourite albums ever. I don’t know if I’d say it’s her best song or anything because I think it is one of those albums that every song is just stunning. Personally though, Lentil hits different for me.

The whole album is a masterpiece.

The edgy girls on ATRL thinking her career started in 2014 need to stfu and listen to this gem.

I first heard Breathe Me either from that Cyberbullying movie or that YouTube girl who used cards with words on them before committing suicide

That whole album is... a masterpiece :jonnycat: we need Sia to deliver another body of work album like that one

aaaaaa the memories of that album! I was a Sia stan back in 2016, freshman year of college, and this album and Colour the Small One were always on rotation :clap3: so many classics in her early discography! Electric Bird, Soon We'll Be Found, Day Too Soon, Sunday, Death by Chocolate, Beautiful Calm Driving, Breathe Me, The Bully, The Girl You Lost to Cocaine :jonnycat:

We Are Born and 1000 Forms of Fear have some great tracks as well! jeez she really does have quite the discography, if only the Music era didn't exist lol

Taste!

I was hoping that after she found success, she would transition back to this music and really get people to see who she was as an artist but she turned into a parody of herself by just churning out the same old sound and it got boring.

But this -- this is so heartfelt and classic. Truly timeless.
