They’re not “over”, as they still carry an element of prestige, albeit, manufactured & at times highly questionable.
 

They haven’t really been living up to their asserted standards for a while though, to their own detriment & are seemingly out of touch at times or completely clueless when it comes to certain genres. But hey, that’s the indu$try. 
 

They should adopt a more transparent voting & selection process & include the nominee’s industry peers in decision making.
