Am I supposed to care that other fan bases are pretending she's lipping?  You can create all the false narratives you want, but she's going viral for her incredible live vocals whether you want to admit it or not.  She's considered the pinnacle of live performing for a reason and you'll just had to stay mad about it.

What does this even have to do with Gaga? The fact that the "Court Jester" gave Beyonce her #1 BB Decade-End song of the 2010s and it's currently one of Bey's most streamed songs in 2023 even with a new album out is not a good look for your "King"

come on. it was live. suggesting otherwise is just a manifestation of hater status. there was even a mistake at the very beginning, you can hear her miss a note or two at the first bit of the run as she looks at the guy who was assisting her.

It's truly funny to claim she's "massively overhyped" and yet there is no one who does what Beyoncé does...like she does.

 

And by this I mean, every artist is different. Sometimes for whatever reason (popularity, notoriety, genre, age, etc.) an artist won't get the widespread acclaim they deserve. In Beyoncé's case, she rose in the ranks of pop from newbie girl-group lead singer to superstardom. she went solo, became a pop icon, and only when she had tripled down on massive eras did she begin shifting priorities towards her art being the main purpose. And for this reason the media, the public, fans, and critics have been in continued awe of her: she made the most out of having huge public visibility by making her work worth the time/attention spent on her, not just in overall quality but in thoughtfulness and artistry too.

 

So to say she's overhyped just because you think x needs more praise, presumes that x does exactly what Beyoncé does in most ways but doesn't get recognized, and quite frankly no one is doing what Beyoncé does, her way, and that's what people are praising her for...not for being better than x, y or z. If x is under-hyped, that doesn't mean Beyoncé is over-hyped.

Antics and gimmicks are basing your career on weird outfits, using religious iconography for controversy, wearing a dress of raw meat, selling your album for $0,99, forcing Madonna to debunk your made up lies, getting yourself vomited on for the sake of "art", simulating sex with a predator on stage, spreading fake rumors as a tool for an Oscar campaign and so on. 

 

All I know is that the King is currently trending on social media for her vocals though.
