Hasn't Rei been utilized properly though? She has a good amount of lines, screentime and a pretty good push in Japan already. She was even on Vogue Japan.

 

It's only Liz really that gets the short end of the stick lately....ngl she should dye her hair blonde again. Everyone during debut who told her black hair was more eye catching lied to her.

Literally the only thing they need to do is give Liz more lines. That's it and it'll probably happen soon. These other stuff are such minor (non)issues and the GP and casual kpop stans who are the biggest consumers of their music do not care. 

They probably have more solo schedules than your average 4th gen gg.

she got fired with the rest of the trainees before aespa's debut, but joined sm again last year as an actress

Yeah I agree with the IG accounts, they should debut them with a comeback next month

IVE has nothing to worry about for at least 2-3 more years. SS will never give them experimental music and risk flopping. Their only concern is overexposure with frequent comebacks and no members being known to the GP besides Wonyoung and Yujin. They need to start promoting other members so their image doesn't get used up too quickly.

The problem is for situations like the Liz video, it's exposure sure. But exposure in itself isn't all that matters, it's the type of exposure. She's the main singer yet hardly ever gets any spotlight in any actual performances.

 

SNSD/Taeyeon would not have had their career giving all the lines to YoonA/Yuri/Seohyun who had that ideal visual vibe. 

 

They gave the best parts to the SINGERS (Taeyeon/Jessica mostly) and always let them stand out in performance and always gave them special stages, OSTs, etc.

 

Liz is not getting the promotion she needs or deserves as a main singer and it will hurt IVE and Liz's career long term. They'll continue to be criticized as a weak vocal group who needs to lipsync while sitting down because they are insistent on making everything about Wonyoung
