It's their best selling album because most of the sales came from the pre-orders before they even heard the song. Once they released Birthday it went downhill, which can be seen in the big decline of their recent album sales, which is the comeback after Birthday. In short, Birthday kinda ruined their hype

well all SM groups sales right now aren't the best due to the distribution and shipping! due to that, I think it's doing pretty well!

This is not true, since we all know SM has problems with the shipping of their albums, first victim of this was NCT's fact check which was stuck at like 200K for days, then Aespa and RV became victims of it too and they don't even care because there's many people still waiting for the shipping of the record specially Chill Kill.
