ngl Starship was so evil to Liz with Kitsch/I Am, not giving her any lines on Kitsch to gain sympathy, and then releasing I Am right next - she had more lines, but every time she sings you get a shot of one of the girls looking great... I kinda giggle watching Wonyoung serving face while she screams in the background

Lets be honest, she doesn't sound good here and the backtrack is loud. I don’t think a video of her dancing while singing really showcases her vocals, but I've heard her sing while standing still and she wasn't good.

Sakura can't sing at all, if it wasn't for her popularity she wouldn't be part of the group  

 

Yunjin, Chaewon, Eunchae, Kazuha and Garam were such a good line-up tbh, I don't get why these companies love group with 6 members when it looks UGLY

In what world Wonyoung is at the same level of Rei! Even today you can ear her, Liz and Leeseo meanwhile Wy was once again lipsycing 

 

I don’t even like Leeseo voice but since the lipsync scandal she made a lot of effort… 

 

And yes Yoona is not particularly a great singer but she’s still better than Wonyoung lol 

why does the podium in the SM Entertainment recording booth have Supreme stickers all over it and a sign denoting no doggystyle

Sakura shined as soon as garam left. It’s giving Shuhua  

Sakura isn’t super talented but I admire her, i wouldn’t try if I had already a fanbase but she did. 

Irene is also a center, the most popular member, an it-girl and she's probably an even better singer than Wonyoung, but you don't see her snatching all of Wendy and Seulgi's lines

It's not like Irene can sing any of Wendy or Seulgi's lines. Wonyoung and Rei can probably sing a large chunk of Yujin/Liz's lines in the studio  since their songs aren't really vocally challenging apart from a few songs and none of them are vocally proficient.

Baddie is probably my least favorite title track from them so far, but I still love it

MV is very RV though

When it comes down to it, line distribution is such a stupid thing to argue. Sure there's favoritism but sometimes it really just comes down to who delivers the line the best to the producers or who the producers like more. 

 

Liz got more lines than Wonyoung in I AM and then she didn't get many lines for Kitsch at all. Is it that big a deal

I don't think she stands out badly bc she's pretty and a good performer, so it's not a Lia situation where she makes them look bad with her dancing - but she's not a good singer and not even her tone is cute, I can see why she's not getting more lines  

 

but yeah, she's pretty brave for getting in the k-pop industry, she could've lived a comfortable life but chose to spend years working her ass off, learning difficult choreo and having to adapt to a different country/culture... 

Sakura is talentless and devoid of personality, I wish her the best.

Spill. I feel the same way about Mia hogging all the vocal AND rap lines in most of Everglow's songs. She's just a really great pop singer and sounds better than most of her co-members. It's not fair but it's right.

Not when her "Get Started" line in Unforgiven is literally the best part of the whole song especially with headphones on, and she became my favorite member ever since
