I knew TXT was bigger in south korea, but I wasn't expecting this slayage on melon. :jonnycat:

I thought SKZ was bigger worldwide, but it looks they're pretty much even. So I won't be surprsed if SKZ end up breaking TXT records again.

This is more exciting than BTS vs EXO, because EXO was pretty much a flop outside Asia.

I wonder if TXT would be miles ahead in popularity if they decided to participate in Kingdom or if they had a reality like the rest of their peers.

Txt does have their own reality show & it even trends #1 in Korea sometimes. Txt would be miles ahead if they threw **** at the wall to see what sticks several times a year like stray kids does though

i know Shindong is problematic but you know considering he doesnt fit the beauty standard of an idol you would think he would have...more  idk....impact

like i dont see any "chubbier" idols name him as an influence. maybe hes influential amongst the gp. does he even preach about body positivity

txt are doing great, congrats to them!

but then stray kids are self producing, highly involved in choreography and each concept of their comeback… so it’s really not that big of an insult as you think it is, that „throwing **** at the wall to see what sticks”, maybe they are just passionate about music, hardworking and actually got the chance to do what they really enjoy doing? weird take from the txt stans or maybe a self drag? idk

it’s one thing to be happy about your fave group’s success and another to drag other group without even thinking for a moment :rip:

I’m not staning neither of them, to be clear

WAIT today was the day I found out NewJennies weren’t charting anywhere besides spotify.

the way this is my goodbye letter 🤣 good luck selling 1.5M tickets

If they were truly passionate about their music then they'd make it good

you know music taste is subjective? tons of people around the world seem to enjoy they output, I would say about the same amount as txt

you have some superiority complex?

I don't think it is comparable. Queendom was popular, so a lot of non fans were going to tune Kingdom and I-LAND was made to decide the members of a new HYBE group. I'm pretty sure TXT reality is mostly watched by their own fans. I agree, TXT should release more music.

They can hire professional producers if they want? Therefore, "self produced" shouldn't be an excuse every time their songs doesn't catch up with the GP cuz at the end of the day, they are the one who is in control if they think their output is good enough as it is without help from others. For them, releasing is going to be a gamble. Professional music producers exists for a reason, to help you with making HITS. They have the resources to access with them too.

All the chubby men in Kpop are problematic, Shindong, Kangin, Himchan...

NewJennies music is very GP friendly and I know quite a few people who use Ditto despite not ******* with Kpop at all, but the fact that they're stomping that hard on Spotify US but not the other platforms is a bit sus. Both of these things can be true. But seeing the bandwagoners stans getting defensive is a kii

Anyways, another boring day without adspa/LSRFM/IVE/Jisus news, congrats to those Twinks on becoming the new BTS I guess.

Y’all are coming for NJ but the real payola is LSRF. AF didn’t even crack the top 40 on Spotify but is stable and was rising in daily streams despite not going viral like OMG or ditto

Yeah expect for XG kpop is boring. Can stayc drop their teasers

This. Their fandom always overrated and praised what 3 Ratcha produced. It is not working. Stop torturing our ears. JYP should hire better producers for them.

Well, probably cause chubbier idols aren’t proud of being chubby and don’t want to be chubby.

Aespa really secured their bag when they smartly did Coachella with their limited discography now that they are over.

TXT coming for biggest US debut outside of BTS? they deserve it so much. so satisfying stanning since pre-debut :chick1:

OMG catching up to Ditto is insane to me though

OMG is easily their worst song but at this rate, they can release anything and it will still SMASH :clap3:

And we are 95% getting something aespa's related (logo etc) in around 13.5 hours :jonny5:

Girls WE DEM BOYZ should've stayed with them cause the damage it's done to aespa's reputation...
