Hanni is like the unofficial main dancer and for some the main vocalist as well (she's the go to member for like r&b singing, like runs n **** while Danielle does the heavy lifting for belts and whatnot) so she has that appeal going for her. Not to mention she's an English speaker, has SEA on lock + once Australia catches up to her like they did with Rosie that's another market. She has that whole Lisa vibe (w/o the badass image)

 

The only member who has just as much potential brand-wise imo is Danielle but sadly Korea pays her dust however with them becoming more and more global she'll probably become the eventual centerpiece of the group and I'm willing to be we'll only start seeing that once they push themselves further into the US/western market (Dani is a spicy white girl every white Koreaboo's dream nnnn)

this x10000000 aespa is such a gag beauty and talent wise, all of them being competent singers and stunning beauties like  but the core of aespa is basically repulsive to most of the global audience already sadly. if they were a completely different type of group (think if they sang songs like 'get up', basically an r&b group) with none of the kwangya ai crap and sang more in middle range instead of yelling 'cuz im too spicy for your heart' (its a banger tho) i think they'd be just as big.

Facts. The two main ingredients when you think of a pop girl group/mpgs: gorgeous and good singers the rest are just supplementary 

 

I think part of Aespa's success is because of their concept. They wouldn't have China or Japan in their chokehold if they were like any other GGs.

Aespa’s sole reason for popularity IS their kwangya/kpop/shouty/maximalist concept tho

 

If they were making Velvet music they wouldn’t be popular

Aespa is successful because they’re the only one who pull this concept even if sometimes it’s overdone.

I have always noticed their accent are on point girls truly are great speaker they just need more confidence, Giselle says Karina does speak english so Giselle hints Karina fakes being awkward at speaking

Amerikkka/west will never embrace the Kwangya, futurism hyper pop image of Aespa either like it is in East Asia

Tell that to SM and whoever old men running the office bc they simply just don't get it. 

 

 

Most MYs has been pretty realistic who wants the group to just stick to their brand and the markets they appeal the most. The west are on a decline anyway
