girl it's a wig you can see the tracks. but yeah it's probably some paint cause you're meant to cover the wig with your natural hair and nobody's hair looks like that nn

Apparently me saying IVE and NJ were tied for #1 because IVE has Wonyoung and massive hits even if NJ is scoring more frequent hits was “me trying to start a fan war”

 

Apparently if you don’t say “NJ are #1 overlord supremes” then you’re starting something

Nobody is going to musical festival and run a complete analysis on how many second the mics were on, they were here for the good time and NJ did it.

To respond to the conversation a few pages ago, I have said there are no vocalists in New Jeans several times. I stand by it too.

To be sure, 4/5 girls can hold a tune and sound decent enough, and not everyone values or enjoys impressive vocals and thats completely valid. The girls have nice tones, good songs, and great performances. But it is also valid for people to say they don't love the lack of vocalists.

 

For me I dont love it because I feel it limits the kind of music they can do successfully - we saw what happened when Danielle was given Part of Your World And I feel sometimes it negatively impacts the quality of a song. I often think about how much better a song like Hype Boy would sound if sung by say, Red Velvet. Or how much better the Misamo songs would be if Jihyo was there 

 

 

 

 

yall doing too much... newjeans did great, the stage presence and energy is there, the live singing was decent too but can't deny that they were not fully live singing since they were lipsyncing some parts and the backtrack was loud on some parts. thats fine their choreos are quite a workout (like literally super Shy and eta are full on workout) and they could improve later. I'm so proud of them and you could see how happy they are on stage. that final clip where they were hugging made me tear up ngl. 😭

Hype Boy is fine as it's own I don't think Red Velvet would done it better, probably only Wendy and Joy, Seulgi's tone is not suitable for Hype Boy imo and Irene and Yeri would not elevate it better especially with their vocal tones (hard on Yeri, love her but her tone is one of the most grating I've ever heard from an idol)

the streams are spread pretty evenly so maybe it’s because we got more songs this time around
