 this is SO sickening. They might be the first kpop act outside of Blackpink I buy a physical album from.

 

I’ve been debating about getting just a couple of other kpop albums for display from groups I like. I want a Red Velvet, Sunmi, Somi and Les Serafim physical.

I’m clearly talking about their solo power toward the gp. I’m joking but BB were able to get hits from their solos/sub units in SK but yet BTS can’t. Outside Suga collab none of them was able to gather interest, which is quite unusual. Even Jisoo song gathered more organic interest than them. 

 

Jennie can flop in SK with her collab, this is not her COMEBACK song. The song wasn’t even announced and reported to the kmedia by Yg unlike every BTS release. And The Weeknd didn’t promote the song either. 
 

And Euphoria streaming are carried by his fandom mass streaming. So were is the flex?

And I think you're referring to Euphoria, but I wouldn't get too comfortable about 4-5 M streams difference between Jennie's highly anticipated solo debut vs. a bside on a group album. Left and Right already outstreamed both anyways. If you're really concerned about mass streams, go worry about Money's >50% filtering rate as lizards try to prevent L&R from overtaking it 

 

The only thing I'll give you is Jimin underperforming expectations in Korea, but hes doing more than fine globally.

 

 

I could agree with the global performance of the song on Spotify but Eight success in SK was carried by IU and her promotions not bc of Suga! 

Even That That  started to really smash thanks to Psy virals university performances.

And the only thing that made noise globally from Jimin era was the tragic encore, the freefaling on BB and the fraudulent #1 on Spotify global chart.
