I just saw Blackpink live in Osaka without Jisoo!! It was so sad and bittersweet but they tried their best with Japanese and all did Jisoo’s Flower dance a couple times during the speaking parts and it was a really special show. Took them about six songs to find their footing and you could tell they were visibly a bit shaken but once they’d started speaking to the audience I think it dramatically improved. They absolutely slayed tho Is it their first time performing without a member?

not a full show no. but maybe a song or two during a concert. 

 

also I assume It’s way harder to do a show if you are only 4 members instead of like 8 or 9

Ahh I see!! They did great then for their first show like that.
 

Yep for definite. It was difficult at first especially for Rose as she pairs w Jisoo so much on those prechoruses. They played a live version of Flower on the screens while the other girls prepared for their solos.

 

Their Japanese is so impressive tho I related so much to Jennie struggling thru sentences at points, literally my life living here  they barely spoke a word of English

Also I can attest to this. The crowd went absolutely insane and were singing Stay in Japanese while waiting for the encore. Every single person dressed in merch (including us few foreigners lol) with light sticks. They clearly adore the girls despite the fact that they’ve not actively done Japan promo,see  when you’re superstars
