I dislike Jimin but he is charting with 2 versions of his song. 

The payola accusations are funny because SM clearly planned Life's Too Short to be that breakout English single and it ended up flopping pretty much everywhere 

 

HOT is doing well because it's perfect. It's in English, yes, but there's somewhat fair line distribution & you can actually hear/understand what they're saying. No nonsensical lyrics (ie: you make me feel me good ) and the glitchcore sound fits their whole brand perfectly. The mental gymnastics in here cause they finally no longer fit the 'Spotify poison' label like this thread was insisting for months.

Well those 2 versions also seem to benefit him, since they were combined and gave him a high debut  The way HYBE have been moving so fraudulently with Jimin’s debut needs to be studied.

Honestly I have no idea what to say about this other than they likely wear the police uniform on the Case 143 MV.

 

I think they're more likely shooting the comeback trailer possibly on recap their past mini album era from Noeasy (2nd full Korean album) onwards and push a brand new era assuming the latest comeback are the 3rd full Korean album.

That was a random MNEK demo that SM probably already bought for the Girls mini and decided to record an English version of bc the demo was English and it didn't sound Kwangya'd. It was more a show of good faith with the Warner deal than a huge US debut.

 

Aespa has still yet to debut in the United States. Girls was not a debut and HOT getting minor radio play and much better playlisting than anything they've seen yet is more in line with how we should expect to see them going forward, with the added possibility of a full scale BP/Twice push down the road if SM doesn't interfere.
