I am huge due Stan I see her live in London front row but she wasted this madonna and missed collaborating on a remix that charted at 38 in the UK

 

What happened? this should have been madonnas next top 10 in US and dual first US number 1

This is awful, like really really awful

The remix itself.. It was an insult to the song.. So bad

This came out before the original was smashing and the Dababy collab hadn’t even come out 

Missy’s verse was terrible.
They should have included Madonna on the version with DaBaby.

completely forgot this existed.. I think it's the production which sounds straight from 2006 and not in a good way

I love the remix. But it was basically an album track with a video. 

This version isn't very good and they did not give it a radio impact or TTH placement iirc

Bad timming. 

Dua is actually lucky that the music was good and that she did a lot promo because they made bad decision after bad decision.

Just to name a few: releasing physical right after dsn instead of some smaller song like cool. Not releasing physical as the second single ww with promo. Not releasing levitating as the third single. Releasing love again that was a non event instead of pretty please wich is the one doing the most streams out of the non singles and would show diversity. Rereleasing the album with we're good as the main single while levitating was starting to smash. 

The club future nostalgia should have been released with the tour and with break my heart cosmic girl remix

Too experimental and not "streaming friendly".

 

I actually like the dark dance tone of it with Madonna's "raw vocals". The producer actually gave her great justice, they know better how to do Madonna's right than Madonna herself.

 

Mostly the original mix when she sings a bit of Lucky Star to it.

 

Future Nostalgia, literally.

Levitating started smashing thanks to Dababy remix and massive promo after it.

It wasn’t payola’d for 6 months at least like the rest of her “hits” (including the daBaby remix to this song)

This remix literally ruined the song. That's what went wrong.

This should have never gotten a video and Hallucinate should have received all the budget this got.

Madonna ruined the song with her autotuned croaking stomping out Dua's smooth vocals
