No but society being generally more homophobic just 10 years ago means that OBVIOUSLY a huge portion who had hate in their hearts for LGBT people have changed and now know better. You defeated your own point with this post. Sza isn't exactly booking pride parades but the other 2 have said infinitely more kind things about the gays than those few hateful comments. 

 

Stans of certain girls always have to be coming for the black women in music. It's repulsive.

Generally it's less forgivable as the public becomes more educated on the issue. Saying something hateful about gays decades ago when that was acceptable and not widely challenged vs going against the grain of society to hate on gay people now are two different kinds of aggression. There's a difference between ignorance and intentionally being hateful. There's some forms of discrimination where you'd have to have been raised in a barn to not understand its wrong.

Meh, the tweet is from from 2011, not the 1980s.  (also she was like 23 at the time or something? Not like she was a teenager either..)

I grew up in a republican town, that was unfortunately still socially acceptable to a massive chunk of the US in 2011.

 

SZA apologized a long time ago and spoke of her own queerness and struggles in that area.

 

Paris and Nicki are just vile, though.
