lol frog on the floor almost sounds like a vampire weekend song

My thoughts - more punk than the pop influences of their debut. Opening is the most 1000 gecs sounding track. Frog on the Floor and I Got My Tooth Removed are the most random and unhinged tracks. Billy Knows Jamie is the best non-single. Overall good but pretty lackluster with how short it is and how long of a wait it's been. 757 and Most Wanted both kind of just glossed over me so they didn't leave much of an impact. I think Hollywood Baby is the highest point on the album, a genuinely extremely catchy track.

This is incredibly good. Very surprised 

This ain't it. It's so bad in comparison to their debut and the remix album.

757, Doritos and Fritos and Dumbest Girl Alive are getting overplayed this year, I feel it in my bones 

This is so forgettable, but it pleases the straight audience they have. Slay I guess 

Big downgrade from their first album. They had really solid melodies on their first album... these just aren't memorable or catchy.

I think this is better than 1000 Gecs tbh. Between the interludes and a few duds there's a kinda significant amount of filler there and the jokes feel more one-note. Highs are insane though!

dude this album is f*cking incredible, i'm so shook

in terms of its brevity and replay value, it reminds me of Grace Ives' wonderful Janky Star from last year, even though this one sounds far more extroverted. honestly I can see myself having all 10 of these songs on replay throughout the rest of 2023 

This is a lot of fun!

757 is a bawp!!!! 

After giving it a week, this is better than their first album. I feel like the highs are slightly higher on the first album, but there are more of them this time around. I can see myself keeping most of the album on rotation, which is really rare for me

This album was my introduction to them and i have to say that i actually liked this  Dumbest Girl Alive, Doritos & Fritos and Billy Knows Jamie are my top 3

They are incredible. Lot of people disappointed seemingly because it’s less sugary and dancey than their debut but it’s more reflective of their solo work. Check out their debut as well as each of their solo EPs! 

This is incredible. Not sure what y’all are on. I had an issue with the mixing at first but when I toggled off Spotify normalization and also tried it on Apple Music (which is lossless) it all made sense. The mix became  SO clear.

 

My instant favorites are Dumbest Girl Alive, Billie Knows Jamie, Hollywood Baby, One Million Dollars and Most Wanted. I’m so glad this came together because the first two singles were a bit too normal for my taste

I'll definitely check out their other stuff, they remind me of Dorian Electra and i really like that kind of sound.

I’ve been making Ween comparisons for years now, Baby ***** alone lowkey birthed Gecs
