success =/= quality

Fortunately Benito has both :clap3:

OT - yes either him or Beyoncé

Yes, 1000%

The quality is there! If you can’t speak more than two languages that’s on you. Spanish is a global language!

love him and his album :smitten:

It deserves the award over Adele.

Rooting for either Bad Bunny or Beyoncé for AOTY. I love Adele but she doesn’t deserve it for 30. She played it beyond safe for 30.

All of those things you listed have to do with commercial success, there's BBMAs for that :deadbanana4:

Critics disagree. 30 is her best critically acclaimed album for a reason

Bad Bunny will win the Latin Grammys but he sadly doesnt have a chance in the General Field

At the Grammys? idk. At the Latin Grammys? definitely, maybe Motomami it's his biggest threat (since it was so well received by the critics). In the Latin community Un Verano Sin Ti has it all: cultural impact, a HUGE tour, a bunch of hits, critical acclaim... it touches different topics and plays different genres.

Critics loved his album. Should ve mentioned it

Obviously. It’s one of the most culturally impactful albums of the century.

He wrote everything by himself (and a lot of the lyrics are great, touching on topics like violence against women and misogyny, gentrification, Latino culture etc).
It’s innovative and the production is amazing.

It’s without a doubt the album of the year but the shammys would never recognise that. What he’s doing and what this album represents to a lot of communities is way more meaningful than any award tho.

I doubt the old farts at the Grammys have even heard of him. It should be Beys year

I prefer Renaissance. Although in verano sin ti is a good album.

It’s a great album, but due to its length it does have quite a few filler songs. He would be a deserving winner though, I’d love to see it! :alexz: Imo Rosalía and Beyoncé’s album would deserve it even more, but UVST is def worthy
