Will Taylor ever stop repeaking?

Featured Replies

After the news of the MASSIVE success of Midnights, even shattering male-dominated streaming records, it's clear that Taylor somehow always finds a way to soar to new heights despite all the naysayers.

Will it ever stop for her? What do you think?

I really thought folklore was her last peak after evermore, but then we had Red (Taylor's Version) and now we have Midnights

And to think we still have 1989 (Taylor's Version) and reputation (Taylor's Version) which will do massive numbers as well

I'm completely sure she will have her confessions era during her 40s too

Taylor is not repeaking at all at least not is overall album sales in the USA, at least she's got more global

stay pressed, sis! :heart2:

every career has a lifespan, she is smart af and will extend that as much as she can do

and when it's all said and done she will go down as one of the biggest careers

Only natural causes can stop her from always repeaking me fears. She's on track to become the biggest artist of all time.

Eventually, I’m sure, but after this I’ve learned my lesson and I no longer expect this to be the last time. She probably has a couple more in her.

She's definitely the most successful artists since Madonna. I'm not a stan but facts.

I think her true peak as a pop star was 1989, but in terms of streams, records, etc. she probably has another good 5-10 years.

Do you actually understand the concept of "peaking" sis ? Swift peaked with 89

Of course I understand the concept.

Midnights’ opening week is shaping up to be bigger than 1989’s so far which was previously presumed to be unthinkable. She’s on trek to break almost every commercial record you can think of. She is arguably more beloved now than she was during the 1989 era. I’d definitely say her audience and reach is the biggest that it’s ever been now. The tour will also be her biggest yet… possibly the biggest for a female headliner in history. Hence yet ANOTHER repeak

That’s not what peaking means, sis.

Of course there’s a commercial factor we have to take into account but there’s so much more to define an artist’s peak than juste… sales.

Artists only have one peak. An artist does not peak every time that his new project’s sales are bigger  :deadbanana:

Yes she’s the biggest artist in the history of the music industry. No other artist has remained at this strength for this length of time.

Now imagine the impact she would have made if the new album was actually good?

There's only one peak, but there can be multiple re-peaks. Think of this as a line chart. There's going to be one peak bigger than all the others, but there's also going to be multiple peaks after a depression. Take a look:
