2 of the biggest artists of the 2000s and 2 of the biggest albums of the 2000s ... which one are U picking?

 

I'm have to go with U S H E R R A Y M O N D on this one but man oh man FSLS really SLAPS ✋?What Goes Around & LoveStoned is my SH I T but Confessions I can play straight through without skipping a beat so I voted for USHER!

honestly, it's a tie for me. they are very different and both are equally influential imo. Usher shaped R&B forever with this album and JT shaped pop music that followed from 2007-2010ish.

FSLS is the winner for me. Yeah is such a classic tho

Yeah is bigger than any song from FSLS but I prefer the latter.

They are close but I will give it to Justin for the simple fact there isn’t a single track I don’t like off that album. Confessions has  about 5 tracks off the end of that album that I skip. 
 

also ushers is one of the few 2002-2005 rnb albums I Love. Didn’t like that style of hip hop and rnb. Just a is the best from his era of that Timbo danja album which was an era of music I loved

Both classic albums, but I'll give it to FS/LS, simply because I love that mid-00s Timbaland sound. It's also more concise, while Confessions goes on for a little too long and has a messy sequencing.

Usher sweetie…:

It’s super close and I like Usher 10x more than Justin but I’d say FSLS. Confessions was a bit long and had lower lows. FSLS was basically perfect.

You can't tell me an album that starts with Intro -> Yeah! -> Throwback and has all the singles in the first half isn't poorly sequenced. The whisplash it gives is unreal

Back in grade school I was obsessed with FS/LS but these days its Confessions for me. Confessions aged really well imo

Aside from the album out-selling FS/LS x3, it still remains the album with the much higher quality.

I'm glad U pointed that out Confessions has definitely aged better than FS/LS for sure .. I been listening to it a lot lately and its honestly a masterpiece Usher wasn't playing making that album.

Believe it or not sis but once upon a time albums actually had intros/outros and interludes as well ? I could also say how a lot of FS/LS songs unnecessary drags on for too damn long **** he's not Prince

 

Most of the songs I never even listen to all the way through I normally cut them off at the 4m mark somewhere around the transition and I know I'm not the only one that does this ?

What an insult to Usher. And of course this site will choose the Justin Timberlake album.  

 

Confessions is a flawless album with zero skips, classic singles and videos, incredible live performances, etc. There’s a reason it’s a diamond selling album (in pure sales).

Yeah! is one of my favorite songs of all time, but My Love, Losing My Way and LoveStoned are PERFECT songs.
