What are some songs where the featured artist was completely wasted?

 

I don't know if anything can top this one:

 

 

I never understood this one. Why would they bring in someone as brilliant as Janelle Monae just to sing four words.

Doja's verse is sooo short on this, and it kinda kills all the mood of this extremly short song

 

 

I always hated how short Bey’s part is in Telephone. She made up for it though by playing such a big role in the video.

I love the song, but Cardi was unneeded and a waste. Like just record a rap verse

Cardi was also a waste on No Love Remix. 

Bieber wasn’t needed on up at night either. 

Saweetie wasn't needed on Out Out at all.

The song is 3 minutes and 53 seconds long, and Lilly Allen appears for a total of 18 seconds, which is a damn shame because she looked adorable in the video and sounded great.

Ugh...so true. Imagine getting HAIM, The Chicks, and Colbie Caillat for your songs but only use them as glorified background singers. 

 

Thank goodness Phoebe Bridgers was able to get a verse of her own on "Nothing New".

 

Chris Stapleton was definitely another wasted feature, for sure. I was so disappointed when I learned the Red TV collaboration I was most looking forward to would get this treatment. 

A Charli XCX and Rina Sawayama collab could have been insane instead we got one of the most bland and basic songs in either’s discography
