This article doesn’t even make sense. The ACA was/is the major healthcare reform of its time. :priceless: It even closed the loophole that let private hospitals abuse Medicare. You’re acting like she was the deciding vote on a M4A bill on the cusp of getting through a contested Congress, when the concept itself has been DOA since Bernie proposed it. :duck:


Anyway, pretty sure she got the award for actually expanding healthcare coverage to 30+ million Americans. After lobbying so hard against the ACA, the hospitals probably realized it gave them more customers in the end. So everybody won. 

 

If Ms. Pelosi did want to reward the healthcare industry, she would have advocated for M4A, resulting in no new legislation in 60 years since Medicare passed (see: Bernie’s record of no accomplishment).   :chick2:
