It comes down, for me, to maturity and selflessness 

In Germany you’re an adult once you’re 21, from then on you’re considered a man.

 

Everything else is a social construct. And even that is a construct since it varies from country to country. 

For me it's ability to grow a beard, beeing proud of chest and other hair, knowing what they want and taking iT, smell

This. Ironically, the oldest guys I've dated (each around 30) have been the most emotionally immature and messy.

18+ are men.

Yeah, ‘boy’ is naturally infantilizing, so calling someone 18+/a potential sexual partner, that… weird. 

Men are always boys they don't really grow up 

Boys are those who still live with their mom and dad, men are those who make their own money and have their own car and house

I’ve known a lot of late 20s/early 30s that still run around living their Regina George fantasy and it’s bizarre to me
