Awwww  RIP.

I feel like it was a suicide. her brother passed away in similar circumstances and she even thought his was death was a suicide. she’s dealt with some many issues and it’s sad she had to go out like this. Even though I don’t agree with how she did what she did (regardless of whether it was accidental), I feel bad for her. Also, whoever sold her that laced coke needs to be in JAIL

Seems like a suicide but it’s really hard to say I feel any sympathy since she risked so many other lives in the process. I also find it hard to believe her coke was fentanyl laced. Fent usually immobilizes/kills people quickly, the fact that she was still up and moving around on the stretcher after the accident is honestly so goddamn weird/shocking. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was medical malpractice like another member pointed out in a seperate thread.

Yeah this. Obviously I’m not implying this was a setup, but it reminds me of princess diana who was alive and responsive in the ambulance after the crash and then suddenly died.

Okay, but how am I supposed to know that? Most of the earlier reports only said that she crashed into the house going at incredibly high speeds and starting a huge fire. Also something about a gofundme being started by neighbors I think.

Google before you post. I know ATRLers have a inability to do that but thats an option.

 

The lady is dead and instead of saying R.I.P. to her despite the circumstances and I hope the family who's home got destroyed gets the financial backing and help to get a new one, you post this insensitive mess.

 

This is why people say folks lack empathy these days ? 

 

OT: R.I.P. to her. She had a rough life. I still remember how she got ripped apart for dating Ellen and her career never recovered after that. Hope she found peace.

People on Twitter (take it w a grain of salt) saying burn victims are usually placed into a medical coma in an attempt to save them. Maybe they put Anne under coma and then couldn’t get her out of it? Mess.

Praying for anyone who feels like the burden of life is too much to carry.

I remember watching her in I Know What You Did Last Summer back in the day. She slayed that role even though her role was small her scenes stuck out to me. She was troubled her her whole life. I hope she’s at peace. Also hoping the woman’s whose house was burned is able to find comfort. It’s bad for everyone involved. Hoping her kids grow up safe and loved from after losing a mother at a young age. 

I doubt it was suicide. She bought a wig at a salon right before she crashed. She wouldn’t have done that if she planned on committing suicide.

 

RIP. 

She ultimately died of a brain injury, not the burns, and a lot of people with brain injuries  appear fine at first but then the brain has a delayed reaction to the trauma and it all goes downhill from there. See: what happened to Natasha Richardson. So she probably hit her head or something in the crash and that, over the other injuries she suffered, was what caused her death.

 

R.I.P. to Anne and hope she can find the peace in death she couldn’t find in life.

She lived such a hard, miserable life, it's a shame that she wasn't able to reconcile her trauma. Hoping she's at peace now.

I literally did. The media is only focusing on Anne because she’s a celebrity and that’s what generates the interest. Most publications not even acknowledging the family hence why I asked.

 

Side note, how would you feel if she killed two people on the couch watching TV? You’re saying lacking empathy, but somehow I feel you would be too if people got hurt from her driving with drugs in the system.

RIP. such a horrible way to die

I've been inordinately sad about this all day. She struggled for so long, she did not deserve to leave the world this way. I've been thinking about her boys... She'd been behaving erratically recently and showing signs of illness and substance abuse, and her boys must've had a sad, stressful time with their mother in that state. For her to die so suddenly and violently at this time gives them no closure. I hope they find it and I hope she's at peace. She was profoundly brave to come out in the 90s, and to reveal her demons and traumas, and instead of being celebrated and embraced she was publicly mocked and shunned. The 2000s were probably the worst time to a celebrity. And she was a finer actress than most people ever got a chance to see. She had integrity in life, I wish she'd gotten it in death as well.
