Isn’t Balvin an alleged racist? ATRL streets have been saying it, but I don’t have the receipts. I’ve heard nasty things about him.

He lost me with “tolerance” — I hate that word used in an apology context to a marginalized group of people. Who are you tolerating? We’re here, *****. It’s called acceptance. These people are all meant to last 5 years max. Bad Bunny will probably go down the Post Malone route soon.

He’s not creative. It’s been the same songs for years now his looks is what’s keeping him a float 

Your looks can only carry you so far. I have to say he has a lot of success in other ventures like modelling, sponsors, touring and now his own line of different products.

 

The main issue it's he isn't creative and his music it's no good. I've always said that he should have been the one to follow Marc Anthony / Ricky Martin footsteps with a more romantic-casanova feel to his songs, but instead he tried to compete with the Balvin's, Bunny's and several other reggaetoneros. He has a lovely voice actually but his music it's just so subpar

Eh Bad Bunny has been out there since like 2016 and getting bigger and bigger every year. Maluma and J Balvin have been delivering music and in spanish markets hits since 2012

 

J Balvin has basically fell off due to his controversies that's for sure, but Maluma's issues the last couple of years it's subpar music. His celebrity status is very big, but he needs to find new producers or reinvent himself. Bad Bunny, Rauw, Rosalía and even Karol G have been far more adventurous than him on their sound/image and Maluma seems to be stuck in 2015-16 type of sound (also he needs to stop attempting rapping, just sing for goodness sake, he out of the other males is one that can actually sing and sounds great, just sing pls)

 

He could have easily been the one to jump on the salsa/merengue/bachata classic latin sounds before any other male and I think he missed that chance. One thing about latin artists is that it doesn't matter if you have 10 flop singles they still rack up streams and they just need that 1 big hit again to be back on top of the world again

When i look other artists like Charlie Puth (who has many music abilities) or even Shawn Mendes (he was formerly great with the music he pulled) they now purely look/sound like random artists who are just here to sell onlyfan accounts

His looks and clothes seemed to have overshadowed his talents. I heard him singing a song last week and I was surprised at his voice. I thought he was a rapper.
