Released on this day on 2017, the third studio album by Kesha was a departure from her distinctive party girl Doctor Luke produced bops after the lawsuit between her and him -that’s still going on- that was the main influence on the record.

The album was acclaimed by the critics making it one of the most acclaimed albums from 2017 and also achieved success, reaching the top position on the Billboard 200 and Canada and also reached the top 10 spot on Australia, UK, Ireland, New Zealand, Scotland, Spain and Netherlands.

 

The album spawned the hit and acclaimed single “Praying” who was nominated for a Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Performance, also the album was nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album on the same awards.

Forever my favorite of all time :heart: it's everything I love about music in one album. 

oh holy sh*t! her magnum opus :jonny3: 2017 was the worst year of my life cause i had my first super long manic episode, my ex boyfriend broke up with me, and i worked at a sh*tty amazon job and it was just not fun, but the music that came out that summer and fall was/is magnificent! Praying saved my life in a way because it put my traumas kind of into perspective. seeing her live that october was just the icing on the cake :heart:

An excellent album :date::date: and Spaceship is a wonderful closer + discography highlight.

Let em talk is one of the best non single songs of the 2010 decade. Cant believe it turned 5 today ♡
