I think she performed this song weeks before the release and when it was released they premiered the video a whole month later. Not to mention that it wasn't (?) send to radio.

Yes, the song barely had a moment but instead of release it right after she performed at Lollapalooza she only dropped a pre-save link, then the song was released weeks after. Then it took another month for the video to drop

 

Coconuts was scheduled to receive the same treatment. She performed the song at the EMAs in November and the song was supposed to be out in late January  after the “viral” success it was released in December instead.

 

Her team is just that clueless and have no idea on how to market her.

Yes… all of these productions screams Luke. She’s currently working with more producers aside of him for the actual album though

Tbh I always thought FSN was a weak lead, I understand her intent on choosing it, but the song doesn't scream "lead single" material

 

Born Again, All She Wants, Revelations, Hit It From thr Back and Je T'Adore give me more single vibes

Born Again is kind of one of her best songs

Finally found/listened to the album and it’s so good! Some good bops for sure 

All She Wants kinda is the best song of all time

Love this. Hope her label and team decide to just surprise drop it despite the leak. At least give her a chance to scrape some pennies for the streams.

Je T'adore is a HIT.

Revelations and the title track are fantastic. So is Deeper. I think this would be a great debut album if all the filler was cut and it was just 11-12 tracks.

 

I don’t use Left My Body, Love Ya Leave Ya, Sex Talk, Treat Me Like A Hoe, or Ur Time To Cry. 

this would be a perfect debut:

if she wanted to draw attention to her old music a la Can't Do Better gaining steam, i dont see why she couldnt fold some of the Era 1 songs into this to give it both the big moments its missing and to give Era 1 a semi closure at the same time. These songs are pretty cohesive alongside Era 1 and it would be a great home to compliment these songs that are an integral part of her career. This would be such a slay as a deluxe:

That wouldn’t be a bad idea to be honest. Since apparently Republic wasn’t fond of most of the tracks, mixing the fan favourites from Era 1 + the songs from Problematique that she’s been performing live and making it her actual “debut album” should’ve work. Not to mention it would cost them less, since they would use old songs (since they clearly don’t want to invest a lot in her).

Album is actually pretty fun! Yeah, it's a bit too similar-sounding all the way through, but there are really no bad tracks. A few more different-sounding standouts sprinkled throughout and you have a solid summer-vibes debut. Her label should release it as a mixtape at this point if they're not interested in saving any of the material for her debut to build interest while Kim records more and earn something from streams

Ikr?? I’ve been saying this. Just a rapper to hop on it (for me, whatever if it is male or female) and it’s a perfect radio single.

Looks cute but the album does not give that vibe at all though.

 

I think a lot of pink, kinda of 00s tumblr-ish vibes (if that makes sense) and her not serving femme fatale would've been better. Similar to Poster Girl by Zara but more edgier and a bit sarcastic.
