Planet Her has had a better chart performance in its first year than Invasion of Privacy so far and Doja will surpass Cardi in overall streams on spotify soon. However Cardi’s overall stats are still more impressive. Four Diamond hits, 5 #1 singles etc. I do feel like Cardi B is expiring... It wont ever be the same as before and Hot Ish proofs that, WAP and Up were gifts after her poor 2019 run but she sadly blew it. Doja Cat took her spot 2021 onwards and is currently the biggest female rap star. its no longer Cardi B.

Doja has a few more years to solidify her name.

Not familiar with stats and what not I feel like Doja's been a bigger name worldwide for a few years now.

Doja does Pop, Cardi Does Rap. Cardi album is Rap Only. Doja is not winning no rap category . If Doja was only doing rap she would never have the success like Cardi. The rap community doesn’t even mention Doja when they talking about female rappers.

I agree that most of the GP see Doja as a Pop artist and Cardi as a Rap artist. 

Doja is bigger as a singer

 

Cardi is still more known for rapping... Also Cardi gets played on Urban

 

Only when Doja is played on Urban will I consider her at the same level as Cardi

At this point Cardi is a brand more than she is a musician. Doja has surpassed Cardi’s musical success but not her celebrity status.

No, not yet. Cardi got a string of 4 diamond smash hits in the span of 4 years. WAP was easily one of the most polarising and divisive and talked about releases of this millennium. I have no idea what Doja's career will look like in the next few years, but I don't think she'll get somehow get 4 diamond singles or an event like WAP. Now, unless she gets a hit quickly, Cardi won't be in a position to maintain that success either, but I think she and her label know this.

stats wise maybe but it seems like cardi's impact is much bigger

Nah, her Nicki-lite baby-voice raps are cute and catchy, but don't compare it to Cardi's flow.

Doja doesn’t have anything comparable to Bodak Yellow, I Like It and WAP.
