Couldn't agree more with @Jothamthat is was a real shame Katy didn't stick with the aesthetics from the single cover + Grammy performance for the music video. There was so much potential for greatness, while the video we got ended up being rather tacky visually (in my opinion, of course!)

^ I'm not alone is believing these two would have made for incredible album covers as well. They capture the atmosphere of their respective albums so well, and are simply gorgeous shots. 

 

Ariana has had quite a strong history with her single covers overall, not gonna lie (ignoring the "Dangerous Woman" era). I vividly remember these two being a moment when they were unveiled.

 

 

The Weeknd can be rather hit or miss (see the "Starboy" era), but when he invests on single covers, he kills it like no other. The "Blinding Lights" one speaks for itself, but my personal favourites are those from the "Beauty Behind The Madness" era. The cohesive aesthetic is phenomenal, and I love their layered collage-esque appearance.

Finally, always worth highlighting simple but effective beauty shots which perfectly capture the mood of their songs.
