Deja vu, irreplaceable, check on it

this was by far the best version of Beyonce. I used to STAN.
 

During the 10’s she just decided to pull “ I’m a queen” kind of vibe and made albums that didn’t appeal to the masses ( even though they were acclaimed in the us) so I lost interest.

I mean, 00s Bey was definitely more fun to follow because she basically was everywhere and turning it out at any given opportunity, but the Musical output of the 10s is rightfully the reason shes considered a living legend nowadays

I can’t wait until we’re truly in the legacy phase and can reflect on her journey in its totality, but that said - Bey was such a bada** last decade. It’s truly what sets her apart from her peers. If she stopped now, her legacy would already be massive - I have a feeling she’s not done. 

Other way around

00s was great because she promoted the **** out of her music and we were blessed with so many performances.

 

However, 10s Bey was legend status and you can't beat that.

 

 

00s definitely wins as it has Deja Vu and Video Phone, 10s is overrated af, tho there are some gems there too, never was a fan of DC other than a few songs

Damn the woman has such a diverse and Rich career that there's always this debate about which B is the best. 

I, for one, like them all. 

- DC Bey is when I started to Stan : her vocals on No, No, No at such a young age (15)  blew me away. Her hairstyles were done by all black little girls, those weird clothes done by Tina set them apart. Seriously SMN, Jumpin' Jumpin', IW showcase her talent in an impressive way and she became the baddest ***** ever in Bootylicious. But that Beyoncé is also restricted, doesn't show her full potential and had to restrain herself. 

 

- 00's Bey : B'Day is still one of her best eras, I love everything about it, maybe my favorite Era. Deja Vu at the BET was her saying : "I was born to be on a stage as a SOLO act". That performance couldn't have never happened with DC. I love DIL : the soft RnB, the girl next door image, Speechless and the song Dangerously In Love. I personally didn't like much in the IASF Era, so I'll skip it. 

 

- 10's Bey : I have lived everything except the way she promoted or how accessible the music was. I loved the music, I adored the performances, I loved how much riskier she got. 

 

In summary : I much prefer the 10's but I have loved every decade. Excited to see what she gives us this decade.

Everything About B'Day was peak Beyonce. She was having so much fun with it and didn't take everything so seriously. 

 

That era is the highlight of her career for me.

 

Self-Titled was great and Lemonade also, but the B'Day era was just pure fun to watch.

Sometimes I don’t realize how long of a career the hallmark lady has. Like she’s professionally been in the industry when the Nintendo 64 released and before Google had its first webpage.

Nope. I love them all but 2010’s Bey is where she really cemented herself and her artistry. 

Sweet Dreams is one of her best singles

Depends on what you prioritize. 
 

2000’s Bey was the most fun & Hungry 

2010’s Bey is the better dancer, performer, singer and artist. 
 

DC Bey is the weakest in all regards 

Beyonce until 2013 period >>>>>>> 

The lack of taste jumped out.

I agree that she was more fun in the 2000s (with Destiny's Child and solo), but she's consistently delivered quality in every stage of her career. Her 2010s albums, especially BEYONCÉ and Lemonade, are best experienced by listening to them in full, hence I revisit them less often than her earlier work.
