I mean, I'm sure violence is a part of human nature (as is love, affection and other emotions), but I don't believe the idea that humans are naturally predisposed to war or that giant tragedies (genocide, war crimes, etc.) can be explained away as just "Oh, that's just how humanity is!".

Yes! People always say life is unfair. Like is not unfair, humans are!

Yes. The recent expose of Halsey’s violent behavior towards women in the past proved this.

With enough influence anyone can be pushed to be violent, so yes.

By nature, I guess not. We don't have need to kill someone unless our survival and needs are threatened.

Depends on how you define it I guess. If everyone can be violent under the right circumstances, that means that violence is human nature and not an individual choice. We can't control the urge when reaching a certain level, even if that level can be very different between individuals. We're not conditioned to be violent, but rather conditioned to act peaceful. But that condition can be broken in every human.

I wasn’t there :skull: but I’m sure we just wanted to survive, to see another day, and that nurturing nature came with some violence attached

yes, but also loving. as a civilization we can find a balance within our intentions and impulses.
