Both artists have been called "American acts" by stans. Taylor's audience being Republicans and Lady's audience being soccer moms and army wives of the US.

 

But which artist is more local / less global?

 

 

Hmm the answer is not as easy as I thought… 

 

a few years ago I would’ve said Taylor without a doubt but her Asian stats and Oceania are impressive and she’s getting better in Europe. 
 

gaga used to be THE current global pop star but she has neglected the international market by persuing her acting career. When was the last time she performed at an international awards show? Or played a festival in Europe? People in South America have been begging for her to come back. 
 

i would give Taylor this one because her streaming numbers prove there is global demand for her.

Taylor is bigger in the US but also bigger in the rest of the world. Taylor is more global. But it doesn't mean Gaga ia not Globa too.

Do you have proof of this defamatory accusation? Taylor has been organically getting bigger with each album.
