i simply couldn’t resist to listen to this and if you’re also waiting for the tracklist don’t i don’t really think it matters except for the closing track which i’m pretty sure is Different Kind of World + add the Florence track (track 7) which is Symphony

so I actually listened to it last night and i hated it - but i just gave it a second listen and it’s like i listened to a completely different album? this is phenomenal and although it might not be better than her previous album her vocal delivery improved by like a thousand percent - her vocals are the best part of this album (except for her poor enunciation at times)

 

something that didn’t change from my first listen is the amount of acoustic tracks i wasn’t expecting a that many

 

and the highlight of the album for me was Honey it completely blew me away

 

i can’t wait to listen again with Want Want tomorrow

 

NOTTTTTTTTTT 2 months early  Poor Maggie. Gonna continue waiting because I'm not really an l-word listener anymore.

I don't remember if she established an official hour release, but TWIA was a midnight local release... so maybe we will receive it today

I'm a bit nervous for this one. I didn't love the lead single.

I pre-ordered the Spotify vinyl.  So I am kinda nervous.

Is it a different sound than her debut album or better?

The album is really good indeed, also very cohesive.
TWIA is a nice introduction to her new sound.

to be honest I prefer this one to the debut, maybe cause the "rock-ish ~ ballads" general vibes give a different look to the album. in a first listen it's "hard" to like it, but I'm already addicted to everything

also I wanna express a thing about the lead. The lead single, after listening the whole album, is a great choice. If she had chosen a song like Want Want or Shatter the sound would have been "too much hard" to understand immediately (it's like a Purge The Poison by Marina = a super change in sound). For sure a ballad like Horses would have been too much "slow" for a lead material... so That's Where I Am offers a good bridge in between, mitigating the bops\hard sounds of Want Want (for example) and the slow\emotional of Horses
