Horses does explode a little bit on a chorus, but yeah. Symphony is another bop contender, tbh

OT: I agree on the absence of the deluxe... this album doesn't need it

just now getting into her and she reminds me a lot of Sylvan Esso at their best, she's a really cool artist

Alaska and Say It from her first album are exceptional, and I'm loving Want Want from this one! excited for the full thing 

 

The rollout for this is wayy too long I don't want to listen to the leak and she has lost my attention. I love TWIA and WW but I'm bored of them/don't want to be tire of them when the album is out, and it's still a month away.

this is the weak point of the roll out: there’s too much space between the releases and i wouldn’t be surprised if she doesn’t drop another song before the album release. Fortunately the album is a good piece, but really… the rest… no comment 

i don't get the obsessive spamming of that hotline via her socials. it's not even cool. she should've titled her album Hotline, not Surrender at this point 

If the album came out now, it would be perfect honestly... but yes, the wait between the TWIA release and July 29th is too long.

She/her label wanted a single out before Coachella and that's why TWIA came out so early. The July 29th date is because the long wait for vinyls I guess

Gosh I thought this was coming tomorrow or next week, it's the 29th   what a long ass time between announcement and release

This is a really f*cking good album. Leaves me with such a good feeling each time I’ve listened to it.

 

Having said that, it really is a shame it leaked so early. You can tell this really is a passion project for her.
