I feel like people in general are also over lores in Kpop as well? They just wanna bop to the music and have good MV visuals without having to think about complicated storylines etc.

Last year Aespa was highly praised for doing bringing  something new to the table then IVE, NJ, LSRF came out and they aren’t viewed as cool anymore.  

i thought it wouldn’t make sense to nominate girls for best vocals because it didn’t that well but we got one song which barely melon top 100 being nominated. They don’t hide it anymore. Rigged

fun thing is that K/DA themselves didn't make too much noise in Korean charts (POP/STARS peak is #44 on MelOn and their 2020 peak is #114)

they might prefer Dota 2 (Jisoo's impact ) or they simply like aespa more

Lore in KPOP is also dumb I agree. I feel like internationally people are over it while potentially domestically people are still in it (or China)

It's just stupid but League is too huge in Korea (they pretty much win LCS every year) 

KD/A as a group should have flopped but they went Top 50 which is insane

Dota 2 needs to be bigger in Korea tho

They may have been too pretty.  There's probably a physiognomic explanation for why Korean girls wanted nothing to do with them.  Maybe things would be different if their label already had a really popular labelmate other than Flopp Dogg.

Possibly that too, idk if SM is doing their year end concert again this year. I would have expected a new GOT unit for that though.

 

But this seems like RV comeback. There's been many signs lately, plus all the girls have been openly posted from the studio, Yeri has mentioned an "album" and Irene said she's busy preparing to meet fans "soon". Seulgi also mentioned that RV will have a "concert" soon and Wendy's hair color recently changed.

 

If it's coming this year, it's probably a very late November/early December comeback at this point though.
