Several groups had tour or concert after their contract renewal and disbandment too. YG is notorious for that too, BIGBANG was in middle of MADE Tour during their contract renewal.

The announcement was in June so it would make sense to have their contracts already signed by that time

Yeah I don’t think that means anything. It’s probably in the contract of the tour that they have to finish it.

They will start their North America leg by the end of the month and finishing it in mid November. While they are on US, maybe they will promote Boys Like You in programms and the album teasers will happen while they are doing the concerts, so they can promote it in late november-early december when they come back to Korea. 

 

It's everything rushed, but I'm not surprised by the incompetence of their division.
