It’ll be interesting to see how Twice does tbh. They had a cute sold out tour, a Japanese hit, renewed and Nayeon had a hit since scientist.  The main thing is the song needs to be somewhat decent or to the GP’s liking. The concept still seems on brand lol, but I hope it is a bit more sexier like the OG teasers.

They’re literally only the second 3rd gen gg after BP to sell a million with one album (preorders). So that’s impressive from every angle. They can’t be compared to 4th gen ggs who sell crap ton of albums from debut.

Yes! I’ve been waiting for them to comeback to Madison Square Garden since 2011? I only saw them here in the states once back in 2015!  I just want to see them live one more time before I’m too old

first them releasing bp's schedule whilst reporters are hounding them with dating questions and now them announcing the pre orders minutes after twice (although tbf most company statements are announced around that time)

 

Blackpink truly are a force to be reckoned with though 

 

and whether you like them or not their impact on the industry is crazy esp for girl groups bc all these GGs selling like crazy now are a result of them raising the bar selling 1m and now the bar has been raised once more, in the past companies saw GGs as disposable bc they didn't sell as well as BGs so they'd disband them faster...now GGs are truly leading the industry
