The Nice Life connection already working for Tinashe. :clap3:

So I saw this on her story earlier and am lucky enough to be able to go so I ran to get a ticket! I didn't expect Tinashe to come to Ireland but I'm so glad she is, she's one of my favourite artists. I saw her Amsterdam show last year and it was easily top 5 shows I've ever been to. I was so sad when it was over, so I'm really looking forward to Thursday. I also love Lizzo albeit not as much, but she has some great songs and is a fantastic entertainer much like Nashe.

Hi everyone!   Tinashe has been on my radar for some time now, as countless fellow pop and R&B enthusiasts online frequently highlighted her as a criminally underrated artist. I started

Something Like what JoJo did. Talk about every era. What could've been what not. Her Teenage years. Her time with the stunners. How she started to make her own music.

Saw her earlier today in Athens!

I listened to Songs For You again and wow what an album... the way she works through all of those bops at the beginning of the record - dance-pop, hip-hop and hypnotic styles - and then ends at those excellent emotional songs at the end. And the album cover :jonny:. The fact she released it a few months before the pandemic started and then promoted it so well throughout 2020 (with lots of amazing performances and videos) while independent was incredible. It felt like such a great moment for both her and the fans now that she was able to release all the music that she wanted to. 333 is great too, I like its experimentation.

Songs For You is really a return to form for Tinashe. They way she made all of it with NO label support and continue to develop her sound.

This is why I'm so excited for the new project. I wanna know how the new label will change this new era

I would gladly recommend songs for her discography! But a good starting point would be Songs For You. It's a great project and has a song for everyone for sure.

It truly was, it was her emancipation. Easily one of the best independent album campaigns ever. She seamlessly blended so many styles on the record and the visuals were amazing.

Hopefully her new deal is a sign of great things to come. I'd say that she didn't take the decision of signing with another company lightly so I'd say good things are on their way.

Absolutely this. Tinashe has been burn far to much from RCA NOT to be selective of her options. Maybe that's why she didn't sign to a major label to preserve her musical control.

Also it is rumored that the deal could possibly bring her mixtapes to streaming so I'm very excited for that as well!

Glad you enjoy it. Welcome 🤗 I would happily offer suggestions if you want?

We still have no Solid confirmation if Atlantic is involved. We just have to wait for Tinashe's first single which I'm certain will come after 6/28 (when her touring is finished)

The lead is coming 7/6 and her Norwegian dates were canceled

Sorry, I'll rephrase, We aren't getting any solid teasers for the era (trailer, cover art, etc) till the tour reaches its end.

We'll have to wait till next week the latest. (although I'd love to be proven wrong)

Yeah but many members of her team started following multiple executives from Atlantic and the nice life team at the same time and some of those executives were also at the album listening party.

I am pretty sure it is partnership with Nice Life but nice life will handle most things, while Atlantic provides fundings, resources , and distributions.  Either way will know soon enough.

Naturally I'd recommend tracks from her latest album Undo - Let Me Down Slowly - Last Call - and lastly The Chase.

These tracks are the highlight of the album for me. ESPECIALLY The Chase.

Link Up, it'd recommend Throw A Fit and Like I Used Too, the two tracks were produced by the same person that made Link Up

Thank you for your suggestions!

Undo is very cute! Didn't care for Let Me Down Slowly 🙈 I really liked Last Call and the Chase I absolutely loved! What a production!

Throw A Fit is a banger and Like I Used To, I didn't really like.

Thank you ❤️

I'm really glad you enjoyed some of the tracks! I do hope you check out Songs For You cause it is a great introduction to Tinashe.

Would love to hear what you think of the album! :heart:

Will do for sure!

I have The Chase in replay since yesterday. I haven't listened to anything else, but the new Kelly Clarkson song. I love it!

I just heard her soundcheck X and I Can See The Future, though she usually sings those anyway.

WHAT'S TAKING SO LONG TINASHE! IT'S LITERALLY A WEEK AWAY! COME ON MAMA! BUILD UP SOME HYPE! Don't be dropping out of no where! :jonny5:
