The way Selena can say that the President of the United States is only the third most important figure in the world she's met this past month after dancing it out with Britney and Madonna the other day. Love that for her 

Some think it might be a separate thing just for mental health. Guess we’ll see Wednesday.

Some fans are saying it is just a test screening and it makes sense then, I don’t know why I didn’t think of that lol. If it is then it could still be months before we see it, maybe not even this year. I hope we do, but the theory of both album and doc coming out on her birthday seems like it’s gonna stay a theory, I fear. 
I think the title could have been better but as you said it probably makes sense in context. It does make me think that it could focus just on her mental health journey and specifically her life from like 2015/2016 onwards (which is still great, a lot has happened since) instead of it being a doc about her whole life.
 

And about her meeting super relevant people, she might even meet Michelle Obama if both attend that summit this weekend. Hoping for it!

It can be both things at once, tbh. She might be looking back at her career and the up-and-downs in her life and explain how all of that impacted her mental health. That's what most documentaries are like anyway, she's just probably gonna spotlight mental health more explicitly

 

Also, I doubt we're gonna have to wait that long for it... I feel like we're pretty close, sometime around her birthday still makes sense to me. Even if it's a test screening, I doubt eventual negative feedback would lead to a major rework of the entire thing to the point it would take that long, and even if it did it's not like a movie where it would take a lot of resources and time

 

Wait just realized this means we'll get some kind of reactions in just 4 days 

So freaking excited about the doc. I hope they don’t fumble that bag and drop the album around the same time, the doc can be the best promo the album can have.

Yes, you are right! I'm so excited to read everyone's reactions, we should keep an eye on the people who tweeted about the doc. I hope they say it made them cry tbh 

 

Next week we will have Kimmel, the official trailer, these reactions and hopefully some more promo!

I wonder if Aleen already got her a deal or that will come after the screening. Thought it would be like Billie’s announcement maybe not the explicit amount but yeah just mentioning which streaming platform and everything. Also guess that podcast is coming tomorrow.

Tbh I'm really confused about the whole release of the doc. Shouldn't it have been already announced if they plan on releasing it on her birthday? Also about that screening, aren't they usually kept more secret especially if the doc isn't even announced yet? So confusing.

I hope they make an announcement soon. Excited to listen to Selena and what she has to say. Hope he asked her good and interesting questions

Apparently they had to sign an nda.. I mean most of the fans on Twitter knew it was coming. This makes it sound more legit to me though.

There is a doc we just don’t know when it is going to be out

There is a new album in the works and the fandom believes she might release it along with the doc on her birthday

Not really, documentaries usually get announced really close to the release date. I just checked and Taylor's Netflix doc was announced two weeks before and Billie's Apple one three weeks before they hit streaming
