I'm disappointed w the lack of lyrics n how she didn't capitalise on the opportunity to release a guaranteed pop hit. We don't really get to hear much of her voice (the main thing we miss) and the way it's mixed is kinda crazy. But like the more you clock it's just a fun lil way for her for to make some music for (her) kids, and probs relieve some of the pressure she feels with returning to music, it's understandable. I appreciate the fact it's something different and unexpected, and at the end of the day I'm never gonna be fully satisfied atp until I hear the album anyways. So the real wait continues

Idk if u guys are trolling with the comments about Fenty Beauty but it's a pretty established brand already so will make decent sales off of that regardless, even if there's not as much buzz as there once was upon release. Don't forget new roll outs internationally over the years which will bring in more sales. I understand why she's doing Smurfs cus she got two kids now n also her success with Home. Excited for the soundtrack even if we don't get R9, though obvs I'd prefer to have that (I've just lost hope at this point lol). She seems to be the lead of the new Smurfs film so I expect she'll have to do a fair bit of promo in the latter part of the year/early next year, so I presume she won't be getting pregnant for at least the next 9 months or so?? Anything is possible though

I feel like stats-wise she's doing so incredibly recently that even though we don't have new music, it's fun to at least have her be still so relevant that random songs like Breakin' Dishes can go viral. Seeing the blow up of ANTI album tracks over the years too, as well as If It's Lovin' That You Want, etc. It's also enjoyable to see her have multiple albums charting on the Billboard 200 like this so many years down the line. Streaming has helped her a lot in the US in terms of album longevity, and has allowed the value of her catalogue to be evidenced on charts. I feel that kind of continued relevance on the Billboard 200 is a true testament to her legacy as an artist and musician, which cannot really be disputed at this point (even though others still may do so but who really cares).

Like others have pointed out with the other post drawing comparison to Rihanna, you’ve omitted Love on the Brain (2016) which receives ~900k average daily streams (has recently started floating > 1m again), not accounting for the huge streams of ANTI in general. Your point still stands but don’t misrepresent Rihanna’s streaming stats here

This is legit me as well lol Looooove the photoshoot so much - she looks amazing, it's so creative and I appreciate it a lot from that standpoint, even though the colours aren't really my style. I won't be buying anyways because of Puma's support for Israel like others have mentioned I do really like the standard TTT cover and think it matches the sound of the album better, but I hate how similar it is from a glance to Unapologetic. So I prefer the deluxe for the distinction, and also cus it's just as good as the standard tbh, she looks so sexy

I acc don’t understand why they’re gatekeeping her discography on social media platforms like this?? The only thing I can think of is that they’re waiting to drop it all once new music comes to maximise the boost in streams of her discography. But I don’t think that’s necessarily the best strategy? IILTYW going viral was a nice moment for the navy and was making a genuine impact to her number of streams. It’s like we can’t have anything lol

I just watched this YouTube video of this group of Korean people reacting to some of Rihanna's music videos, was really interesting to see which songs they knew as they seemed more like the GP. E.g. they didn't know Diamonds but most of them knew Work which was surprising to me; I think of the former song as bigger worldwide, so just goes to show there's more variation internationally than you may think.
