Consideration/Work live at the BRIT Awards in her top 10 best performances? Ma’am  :deadbanana4:

EDIT: Points were made with the Rock In Rio medley

Her Trinity is XFactor (Stay/WFL), Diamonds at Victoria Secret show, and LOTB at BBMA

This HAS TO mean something... RIGHT? 😱

If this come from another artist, I would think the music is imminent.

Why they say that? Recall the reggae/dancehall album and say 'something'

Apple is playing so much with her silence and her return.

I think she has the inspiration and the concept, re-do all the best songs she has been recording by the years and has the album ready soon.

The BBC have uploaded 4 playlists/podcasts on their BBC Sounds app ahead of her Super Bowl performance.

Rihanna: Artist Icons includes live performances and interviews from Rihanna at the BBC. It's better than the Apple Music ones. I'm listening now and there's an interview with her from 2005 explaining how she was signed. Her accent is so strong.

Thank you for mentioning this, listening now n I’m loving the content

Ok I keep going back and forth on this in my head but I now think that her opening should be WFL (similar to X factor rendition) and the closing should be Diamonds. Both songs are the most Euphoric and soaring records in her catalog and they would just be a perfect way to play to the crowd and leave a breathtaking impression on the audience....the feeling would just ripple through the stadium and through our screens.

Of course if she were to open with Umbrella instead that would be perfectly fine too...but those 3 songs are the only songs worthy of opening/closing the show

WFL for me is the best option to close the show.

It definitely would be a great closer too! Im sure I'll change my mind to it being the closer between now and the big show lol

I'm excited about the SB. More than ever in the Riri career.

We don't have any information about the show. Her hand with the Ballon  and a mini teaser.

I keep saying it but i think Umbrella should be the opener and WFL the closer. :celestial5:

This would slay too!

i want some type of rock incorporated, thats the only side of her music she didnt touch at the vmas. rockstar 101 and hard would be so nice during the halftime show

Only on ATRL is the hype/ promo not enough. I don’t recall this many celebrities or athletes being so excited for a halftime show since Bey 2013 performance

They won't be happy until the album is on Spotify :coffee2:

I only knew because the BBC promoted it on TV in between programmes. Even they stan her and they aren't even showing the Super Bowl this year.

Rockstar 101 would have the boomers by the neck :jonny5: I need that to happen

No.. No Rockstar 101 please...

She performs it pretty poorly live tbh.

I don't think it suits her set either

Is the fact that they put Run This Town back up a hint of JayZ being at the SB with Rih?

I think Umbrella + Run This Town could be a good combo

Jay Z officially uploaded the Run This Town video on yt…

Basically confirms it’s being performed this weekend

The way I don't mind it at all.

I definitely don't want Jay Z to be a guest (I don't want her to have any guest at all), but Run This Town's chorus would make sense in the setlist. It has an epic feeling, and I think it would work perfectly as an opener.

If she would have a guest, Jay would make the most sense (but just him pls). Even though i don’t care for RTT, it would make sense to have it on the setlist considering how anthemic it is for the straights and the GeePee. Didn’t the NFL use it all the time during their games back then or something? Also I can kinda hear that iconic “EHHHHHHHH-EheEEEEHHH” echoing in the stadium to kickstart the show :cupid:

She can do Run This Town’s chorus WITHOUT Jay. No one cares about his verse. I really hope she has no guests.

Logically speaking, Jay would make the most sense to have as a guest performer since Kayne and Drake are out the equation for obvious reasons and Calvin Harris isn't really necessary. I don't think they'd return Eminem for a second year and The Monster needs to stay away from the setlist at all costs.

It's also the next best possible outcome behind the show being solo, because the more I think about it, I actually don't really want any random guests performing their songs on her show (like a dancehall artist e.g. Sean Paul etc) At least if it is Jay... those are still Rihanna songs they are performing at the end of the day.

He just better keep his own songs to himself :foxaylove2:

From her possible guests, I would 'approve':

- Sean Paul (with a reggae-dancehall section)

- Paul Mccartney (just for the shake of him being a very different profile and giving that he has a big name)

- JayZ (Umbrella+Run This town without Kanye+Talk That Talk medley)

- Chris Martin (dueting one of her biggest hits and a tiny part of Princess of China)

- Sza (Consideration + a duet of one of her hits)

- Calvin Harris (for a section of her hits with him)

I'm going to be so pissed if the guest is someone out of nowhere (like Missy Elliott on Katy's HTS) because she is going to waste time performing their song.

Same this is why I don’t want Sean Paul or anyone else
