It might be BP soundtrack... it keeps increasing on Apple Music, and I'm pretty sure the whole OST counts for Rih on Spotify since it's on her page

Same!!! She’s currently the only artist right now who can revive the popularity of the genre. Can you imagine best reggae album being televised next year at the Grammys 

I’d like a reggae song or two but not a whole album. Rih’s never been the type to box it into one scope, and I feel she finally got the formula of clashing genres with ANTI just right, I wouldn’t mind if R9 followed the same template.
 

From an audience standpoint where everybody fickle AF, this kinda makes sense too; since everybody’s gonna have an expectation (and disappointment is a potential, especially w the long wait)…might as well cater to a range of what many would want to hear from her and let everyone enjoy a piece of the pie.
 

Also I’m just really keen to hear her voice again in a dynamic variety of sounds 

Of course, Rih’s gonna do what she gonna do though. I just wonder what sound she finally lands on for the lead aaaaah 
 

 

A reggae album would be a disappointment for me at this point. She needs to pull another Anti and make an album that is all over the place, sonically. Reggae elements incorporated in the album generally would be cool though.

Agree w/ the above Navy. I don’t want an album entirely of one genre. I love Rih because she always mixes it up.

She did confirm she was making 2 albums (one reggae, one experimental) in late 2019, I wonder if that's still happening

If that was still happening she would put the album/s out after or right before the SB. There are 4 scenarios:
1. she isn't satisfied with the material
2. she doesn't have 2-3 strong songs to put out as singles
3. she wants to re-record the material she likes with her 2023 voice, but she obviously can't do it due to rehearsals
4. the whole idea about those 2 albums is totally scrapped and she is looking for new material
