Yeah it is super weird how fast LMU is dropping on radio these past few days when it was stable thus far… it doesn’t really make sense, the song is still charting high on Shazam/iTunes and doing decently on streaming 

i wonder if lift me up is going to end up in the superbowl setlist

i actually don't mind if it's her choice for the ballad section

just imagine the live debut and the praise from the GP!!!

+ it's the perfect song to lift the spirit of the players and the audience.

But I think Lift Me Up deserves a entire performance. So this is the reason I will keep the song for the Oscar's performance. This could be amazing in live

It's just smarter to do it at the Oscars
It doesn't matter if the audience is smaller if she slays people will watch on youtube the next day 

LMU had pretty mixed response from the GP tbh, it needs to stay far away from the SB for many reasons

Pretty much. It's done good for her and this is the best a soundtrack has ever done for her commercially or acclaim wise.

GG usually hold the most weight, even more than Oscars. If you lose GG your likely to L at CC and Oscars.

I think she has many accolades that are much more significant/important to her career than being an academy award nominee. She’s not an actor, she’s a musician. Her musical stock won’t go up anymore due to this nomination (or win). She’s RIHANNA. She’s already at the apex regarding her stature as a musician. She was going to be a critical darling regardless of LMU because of poptimism. Plus, the industry is much more fond of her due to her felt missing presence. An award wasn’t going to change that.

LMU was a successful BSO. And if we are lucky we will get the Oscar's nomination and the performance. She won't win but who care if we get the performance. Let's be honest all of us know this is the kind of song Rihanna slay in live.
