Any news on the documentary? I am perched! I feel like she has the most interesting story to tell of all the MPGs 

Only thing I want for that album is for Rih and Tems to write every song together.

 

Tem's lyrics are so subtle yet powerful, she's amazing no matter if it's an up-tempo dance song or a harp driven instant classic.

I love Tems so I would love one more collab on the record....but I need her to collab with Burna Boy!

I want uptempo and Afrobeats album tbh.

Ok so #1 is not gonna happen, hope we can keep that #2. Then one more week in the Top10 and after that the movie kicks in and hopefully adds some longevity.

I wish Rih wanted it more tbh. Website sales would have done the job.

Tems is actually good. Her uptempo songs are amazing and this new song, while good in its own right, isn't representative of the kind of music she makes.

I've listened to her before! I don't think she would mesh well with Rihanna

Oh I thought you'd say that based off of LMU only lol

But I can understand that, Tems's music a lot more mellow for the standard afro-beat sound.

It's also that Rihanna seems to want to follow Tems' voice mannerisms, which... No

Rihanna follows everyone’s voice mannerisms that write her songs. Lol

And here it doesn't work. With diamonds for example, she sounds completely different than sias demo and way more restrained. 

I think at this point Rih has done everything she will for this song. 

 

She even gave it several videos... 

 

So we can only wait and see if the film gives it the boost we want. 

 

A cute Top3 with 300M streams in the end would be enough for me. (of course another #1 would be sick... But I don't see it happening)

I'm fine with this song not going #1, not every major release needs to go #1 and lowkey I don't think its on the same level as most of her #1 hits anyway (with the exception of the monster) and especially if its going to fizzle off the charts by Christmas time. Dont get it twisted though, I still like the song. 

 

That also goes for any r9 songs too, but that's where the energy needs to go, lets hope Disney is doing the promo for r9   but it would be nice for the album to get a #1 to shut up the haters

I still like more the old Rih way.

 

Making the GP fall in love with the songs gradually and keep on building momentum than pushing a song down the throat if you know what I mean.

 

I love LMU. And each listen gets better. So I'm focusing on enjoying her voice and the mature sound of LMU.

 

I feel like I've grown up with her and she is in a similar state as me, so maybe that's why I've always connected with her music.

This works so good here. Hoping the placement in the film makes wonders.

 

Still Top10 on spotify artists WW (guessing that she lost the +1M from disturbia) hopefully LMU held it's numbers around 3.5M

#2 is an insanely strong debut, especially considering the style of song. We should be happy with that because it definitely won't be spending a second week there. The soundtrack probably won't get much attention this week, but let's hope it's enough to keep the song top 10 for a second week. Hopefully it'll get a nice boost when the movie comes out.

This isn't a Rihanna project. This is a Disney project. Disney is not going to allow Rihanna to put anything on her website, they're extremely protective of their intellectual property.
